Roll lets invited people take, share and keep photos and videos together.
You must be at least 18 years old to join. Keep your account secure and share invite links only with people you want to participate.
You must have the right to upload your photos and videos, including the images and voices of people in them. Do not upload unlawfully recorded material, intimate content shared without consent (including realistic digital forgeries), child sexual abuse or exploitation material, violence, hate, harassment, privacy or copyright violations, or spam.
You can report content or block its uploader from the photo and video viewer. The operator reviews reports and may remove content, restrict access or report matters to the relevant authorities. Non-members can request removal of intimate images shared without consent at /safety/intimate-images?lang=en. Repeat copyright infringement may result in account termination after review.
Accepting an invite to a group or a memory linked to a group makes you a member of that group. You can also see existing memories linked to it. Members can leave, but the creator cannot leave because the group plan and management responsibilities are linked to that person. Group ownership transfer is not available in the current version.
Uploaders can delete their own content, and the creator of a memory can delete the whole memory. Deleting a video also deletes its sound. The group creator can delete the group, but must first cancel any linked subscription that is renewing automatically in the store. Deleting a group with remaining Plus time ends that access; it cannot be transferred or restored to another group. Deleting a group does not itself cancel its store subscription. The operator may restrict or remove content when a rights violation is confirmed.
Request account deletion in Settings > Delete account. Your account, profile, consent, participation, location-use confirmation, report and block records, and your uploaded photos, videos and sound are deleted. Shared memories may remain available to other contributors.
A Free group can upload a combined total of 100 photos and videos per calendar month in the time zone fixed when the group was created. Existing groups retain Korea time. Each video counts as one upload, just like one photo. Memories without a group have the same per-user limit in the time zone fixed at sign-up; existing accounts retain Korea time. Link a group before inviting new people. When a memory is linked, uploads made in the current limit period that have not been attributed to another group also count toward the selected group’s limit. Usage for memories without a group does not decrease. Plus is an automatically renewing subscription for one group, allowing a combined total of 500 photos and videos up to 15 seconds each per current store billing period. Each additional group needs its own subscription. Available subscriptions depend on the store’s product selection. The purchase screen shows the price and renewal date. Charges are billed to your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
Cancel through the subscription management screen in the store where you purchased. Access continues until the paid period ends. Refund requests follow Apple’s or Google’s procedures, subject to mandatory rights under applicable law. Restore purchases in the app using the same store account. Deleting your Roll account does not automatically cancel a store subscription.
You can continue viewing and saving existing photos and videos after a subscription ends or the upload limit is reached. Existing content is not subject to a separate storage quota. Deleting content does not reduce Free usage for the month or Plus usage for the billing period. Paid plans increase the limit for new uploads.
When AI search is available, uploaded photos and representative video thumbnails may be analyzed automatically for search and summaries. Results may be incorrect or incomplete. They are not used to determine identity, age, gender, emotions or other sensitive traits.
Parts of the service may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance, security incidents, natural disasters or external service outages. Significant changes are announced in the app or on a notice page.
