Website analytics

The Roll website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and download-button clicks. This notice covers the website. The app’s data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.

What information is used?

• Visit times, download-button clicks, button placement, device and browser information, language, and approximate location are used for statistics.
• A random identifier is stored in a cookie to distinguish visits. The cookie lasts up to one year from when it is set.
• Referral sources are measured using the previous site’s origin and campaign labels. Detailed referrer paths, searches, and unrecognized website query parameters are not sent.
• Accounts, photos, nicknames, and email addresses are not added as analytics fields. Advertising personalization, Google signals, automatic click collection, and screen recordings are not used.

Who processes the information, and for how long?

Google LLC processes analytics information over encrypted connections in the United States and other Google processing locations. Google processes IP addresses needed for the connection, but GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. User-level and event-level retention is set to two months. Aggregate reports without individual records may be kept longer.

How can I opt out?

The analytics tag does not run when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. You can also block or delete cookies, or use the Google Analytics opt-out tool. The website and download links still work with analytics disabled.
